Free film at Soka, March 8th

Free film March 8 at Soka, Helena Modjeska story

Living in the OC and drving up Santiago Canyon Road (to boycott paying a toll fee) enjoying the scenery as I pass historic Irvine Lake to reach RSM or Foothill Ranch,  I’ve wondered about Modjeska Canyon.   And who was Helena Modjeska.  Have you?

If yes, here’s a freebie documentary at Soka University in Aliso Viejo on March 8th at 7 pm.  Soka’s known for quality, informative cultural programs so I’m sure this’ll be worth watching.   http://soka.edu/news_events/events/2011/03/modjeska—woman-triumphant—a-documentary-film.aspx

Main beach in Laguna Beach may not be ready for visitors, but after recent flooding rains artists have cleaned up & are eager to show you their art!  A resilient community of people who love what they do… creating original works of art.

Winter can be a hard time for artists but it’s a great time for art collectors.  Take a drive to Laguna Beach to support artists you know (hopefully with a purchase) or look up favorite artists online

Contact Laguna Beach Art Tours to arrange a guided Laguna Beach tour or for info about our  artists recovery gallery tour!   And, visit the Laguna Beach Visitors Center for the January 8 artists open studios in Laguna Beach.

Laguna Beach Art Tours promotes & supports Orange County artists.  We create small, guided art walking tours & artists home tours in Laguna Beach by appointment.    Have a heart… buy some art!
